Hockey Sixers is fast, fun, free-flowing hockey. Get social, grab your friends and head to your nearest venue. Played on a smaller pitch, means more touches and that means more fun. We have competitions for all age groups!

RULES

The rules are just like the hockey you know with a few minor changes. You don’t need to find a goalie to play anymore! Check out the rule-book for more. Please note that some rules may vary between venues.

Perfect! Whether you have just finished your club hockey season, or are becoming up the stick after a break, Sixers is the ideal way to get back out and play! Or just make Hockey Sixers your new game of choice!

Sixers is a team sport so the best way to play is to get a group of friends together and register a team. If you can’t get a team together though we can place you in a team with like minded players.

Hockey Sixers has competitions available in the Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 & Open Age groups.

All you need is your hockey stick, shin guard, mouth guard and runners & comfortable clothes. No uniform is needed.

Fixtures vary at each venue. For most weeknight competitions, games start between 5:30pm & 9pm however contact your local venue for more information.

Season length varies at each venue. Seasons usually run for 7 – 12 weeks.

Hockey Sixers is a brand-new initiative, and we adding new venues every year.If you want to bring Hockey Sixers to your region, please contact us at (03) 9448 2100.

The price will vary from venue to venue however it will cost approximately $10 per player per match to play Hockey Sixers.

Please contact your local venue at least 24 hours prior. Any late cancellation may result in an additional charge. No refund is provided for non-attendance.

No, anyone can register to play. Simply get a group of friends together and register your team directly at the venue of your preference.

The payment structure will vary from venue to venue. Some may require an upfront season fee while others may collect a weekly team fee.
